Get to Know Us
Traders@UST is a student-run organisation that aims to bring together any passionate students in the financial industry and to act as a bridge between students and industry professionals. Together with the HKUST Entrepreneurship Centre, our main objective is to provide a platform for passionate students to equip themselves with adequate skills and knowledge thus having a better career prospect. For those who have no interest in banking and finance Industry, we hope to provide them with at least proper personal finance knowledge to help them pursue life goals easily.
OBJECTIVES

To cultivate a close-knit group of elite individuals in the trading industry and serve as a platform of exchange between industry professionals and students groups.

To provide an interdisciplinary and cross-functional program that identifies and attracts top talents from all academic backgrounds.

To raise interest in finance and provide sufficient personal finance knowledge for any member.

PROFILE
Traders@UST is made up of roughly 60 members and EXCO from elite programs in HKUST, namely, Dual Degree Program in Technology and Management, Quantitative Finance, Risk Management and Business Intelligence, Economics & Finance, Global Business and the School of Engineering. Together, we are a driven-group of individuals with a strong interest in pursuing careers in the financial industry.
During the recruitment period of Traders@UST, applicants will be asked to finish a stock pitch with fundamental analysis and technical analysis. Top applicants would be invited to the interview, in the end 60 interviewees were selected to become junior analysts and senior analysts
